Our construction solutions

  • Federate new design with as-existing using Scan-To-BIM.
  • Maintain accurate records with 360° photography progress monitoring.
  • Engage stakeholders using Virtual Tours to capture key project milestones, including familiarisation for FM teams and occupiers.
  • Verification and as-built records to check where critical installations take place such as plantrooms, services zones, structures and areas with critical dimensions, or where the BIM model needs to be updated with as-built information.
  • Achieve a smooth handover with Virtual O&Ms.

Our approach

Construction progress monitoring

We attend site at regular intervals and take 360° photographs from set positions, logging them using HoloBuilder or other proprietary software. Over time we build up an accurate and reliable record of progress, capturing how the project evolves. Users can explore the newest site capture, compare progress at different dates, or scroll back through time.

Virtual Tours

Similar to Google Streetview, our high resolution (4K) Virtual Tours are intuitive to use and can be easily accessed through a web browser via a shareable link or embedded on a webpage.  Additional information can be added in such as photographs, videos, links and documents.

Verification and as-built records

We carry out a point cloud survey of required areas and produce a validation report. This compares the point cloud to the design model and shows where installation differs. The design model can be updated to as-built. In critical areas, the installation may need to be moved to the designed position.

Virtual O&Ms

Using the Virtual Tour as a basis, we create an O&M website (password-protected so access can be controlled). O&M information such as user manuals, test and commissioning certificates and installation information is provided and tagged to the corresponding item in the Virtual Tour – for example an air conditioning unit could have instructions, a demonstration video, commissioning certificate and technical specifications all linked.

What this means for you

Construction progress monitoring

Our regular site visits mean you receive an accurate and reliable record of progress, with access provided to as many users as required. This can be used to assess and demonstrate progress, verify payment applications and support or defend claims. Quality and safety are also improved as tradespeople know their work is being recorded.

Virtual Tours

Key moments are captured in fine detail for an enhanced record, and Virtual Tours can be used as Virtual Site Visits for engagement with potential occupiers or investors. At handover, our Virtual Tours allow tenants and FM teams to familiarise themselves with the building, helping them plan their move and build up excitement prior to the big day.

Verification and as-built records

Accurate as-built records can be produced by your designers, or critical installations can be adjusted prior to being accepted. This is particularly important for the Golden Thread of Information required by the Building Safety Bill.

Virtual O&Ms

Linking O&M information to a Virtual Tour of the building is a simple way for users to access key information, familiarise themselves with the space and access information in a logical location. Different Virtual O&Ms can be created, such as for building managers or occupiers. For example, in a managed apartment block, the facilities manager has information about the lift, plant rooms, risers, and the tenant can access instructions for the thermostat, dishwasher, and microwave.
