ScanTech Digital is working with Battersea Power Station Development Company as Client and Construction Manager Sir Robert McAlpine on the 100,000 m² Phase 3A development.
Our solution
We record 360º images to monitor construction work as it progresses. In the last year we have captured over 73,000 images taken from 2,823 fixed locations on a 2-week cycle across site including every room in every apartment. This has ensured that diligent records and visual insight have been maintained at the point in the build cycle when works progress at speed and carry the most value, but also when management resource and record-keeping is traditionally most-stretched.
Our curation of images on the Holobuilder viewing platform provides site maps for easy reference and navigation alongside the ability to compare images from different dates to establish progress at any location. The web-based software also has reporting, recording and measurement tools that are free and easy to use by multiple stakeholders.
Outcomes
The resulting records are being used by the site team to proactively engage with designers and trades to solve issues, monitor and prepare account application and manage claims including those relating to delay and insurance matters.
