Haywood Hospital, Stoke-On-Trent

Context

Our team at ScanTech Digital has been working on behalf of Tilbury Douglas. We carried out a range of surveys to support refurbishment works at Haywood Hospital which included buildings with existing Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC). The surveys were internally and externally undertaken which included point cloud, photogrammetry, and a 360 inspection. Our team produced a LOD3 Revit model of two core buildings, with the main entrance to be retained and the outpatients building to be demolished and rebuilt due to its RAAC condition.

Our solution

ScanTech Digital was commissioned to carry out a comprehensive internal and external point cloud survey, 360º photogrammetry virtual tour and external drone inspection survey. This enabled the project team and NHS Trust to proceed with their multi-million-pound redevelopment of the outpatient department. We provided Tilbury Douglas with a wide range of survey solutions, delivering a suite of digital tools allowing all members of the design team to effectively engage with the project using one consistent set of 3D information.
