Context
Birmingham’s Symphony Hall is widely considered to be one of the finest concert halls in the world. Opened in 1991 it recently underwent refurbishment and extension to provide more recital and hospitality space outside the main auditorium.
Our solution
ScanTech Digital was commissioned to carry out a comprehensive laser & 360º photogrammetry scan that will be used to create a Virtual Reality model to allow Symphony Hall to be showcased and the new facilities promoted through web-based and social media. We provided the VR model with easy user access and the ability for users to freely roam through the model.
Outcomes
In addition, the product information included Scantags which provides information about the organisation, the areas of promotion i.e. website, contact information etc and allows viewing from the public to see the view from the seating area.
